Science for All – Series of events
‘Science for Everyone’ is a public lecture series organised by FAIR and GSI and is aimed at anyone interested in current science and research. The topics cover a wide scientific spectrum – not only research at GSI and FAIR is reported on, but also current topics in physics, chemistry, biology, medicine and computer science in general. The aim of the series is to present scientific processes in a way that is understandable to people without specialist knowledge.
The lecture series has been running since 1988 and has already attracted over 46,000 listeners to more than 300 lectures. The event will take place both as an in-person event (with registration) on site at FAIR/GSI in the lecture hall and as an online webinar.
