The vinocentral is a wine and specialty shop, coffee roastery, café and wine bar all in one! Since it moved into the rooms of the abandoned station hotel in the style of the end of Art Nouveau in 1993, it has brought urban flair to Darmstadt's main station.

Today, you can find over 2,000 European wines in the store, over 40 of which are available by the glass. There is also an extensive list of rarities. For a surcharge of 21 euros, you can enjoy any bottle from the range on site in a pleasant atmosphere.

In the Italian style, you can drink an espresso or latte macchiato standing up at the caffè bar and choose from six different types of coffee. Or take a seat at one of the long wooden tables and enjoy a glass of wine while tucking into sandwiches, warm foccace, antipasti or a freshly prepared soup of the day.

In addition to the wines, which are also available online, and coffee and espresso creations from the in-house roastery (https://www.centralroesterei.de), the range includes a large selection of ham, sausage and cheese as well as an extensive selection of antipasti, olive oils, aceto balsamico, pasta, risotto, truffles, sugo, pesto and confectionery.

The staff are just as diverse as the range of wine, coffee and specialties: The team of around 28 people is made up of different characters, professions, nationalities and age groups. Two young people with disabilities are also employed at vinocentral. With a great deal of passion, expertise and attention to detail, they all ensure that shopping and spending time at vinocentral is a pleasure.
