We are looking for an Event Manager (f/m/d) for markets, folk festivals and major events as soon as possible

Focus: public festivals and major events

Your tasks:

- Collaboration in the conception, planning, organisation and implementation of e.g.

weekly market and special markets (e.g. arts and crafts market), events, festivals and other events (e.g. spring fair, wine festival, church fairs, weekly market, Christmas market, Mathildenhöhe World Heritage Festival) in public spaces

- Negotiations with stand and shop operators, partners and logistics service providers Selection and authorisation of exhibitors and stand operators

- Electronic registration of applications for all markets and events with Marktmeister Pro

- Design of event plans

- Planning of infrastructure and security facilities/access protection, including coordination with the security authorities during on-site appointments

- Event management during the events to accompany and supervise the organisation, set-up and dismantling (including evenings and weekends), festival operations (including evenings and weekends)

- Calculation, keeping the income and expenditure list

- Preparation of contracts and invoices in coordination with the accounting department

- Collection of market and stall fees

You can convince us with these necessary qualifications:

- Completed training or degree or a comparable qualification

- At least 2 years of relevant professional experience

- Further training as a certified event manager or similar would be an advantage

- Manual dexterity and physical resilience

- Negotiating skills, especially when dealing with showmen and women, feeders, traders, association members, etc.

- Ability to work independently and flexibility in everyday working life

- Good manners and assertiveness

- Very good conceptual and organisational skills

- Independent, structured and conscientious way of working

- Knowledge of crowd management and event security is an advantage

- Good understanding of event technology (tent and stand construction, stage technology, etc.)

- Confident handling of PC applications and MS Office programmes, initial experience with MarktmeisterPro an advantage
