The benches in Ernst-Ludwig-Straße and Ludwigsstraße are to be replaced as part of the federal funding programme for sustainable inner cities and centres. Four different benches are currently being trialled on Ernst-Ludwigs-Platz. All benches are made of a sturdy metal construction, are fitted with certified Douglas fir wood and can be used on one or both sides.
