Vortex Garden
The Vortex Garden with villa on the Mathildenhöhe is Darmstadt's only privately owned public park. Designed according to the principles of permaculture and the balance of natural ecosystems, the owner wants to make the garden symbolically accessible as a "place of vitality, renewal and recreation".
The design and idea of the garden can be explained to interested visitors on request. The garden is open to visitors free of charge. The now listed "Haus Martinus" (formerly "Haus Hubertus") was designed by the architect Jan Hubert Pinand in 1921.

The vouchers worth 10, 25, 50 or 100 euros can be bought online and in the Darmstadt Shop and can be redeemed in about 60 shops and restaurants in Darmstadt.
