Store+X / Pretty Vacant
From 27.2. - 13.3.2025, the Department of Architecture at Darmstadt University of Applied Sciences is opening the door to a new exhibition:
On 150 square meters of space in the former McDonalds, student designs and final theses will be shown that rethink five vacant stores within the Cityring as examples.
Using analyses, drawings and models, the potential of vacancies as an impulse for new usage and spatial concepts will be made tangible.
The exhibition is intended to be a platform to show the resulting analyses and designs on site in Darmstadt's city center and to discuss them together with the citizens of Darmstadt

The vouchers worth 10, 25, 50 or 100 euros can be bought online and in the Darmstadt Shop and can be redeemed in about 60 shops and restaurants in Darmstadt.
