Stalls from the twin towns
The stalls from the twin towns are a tradition at Darmstadt's Christmas market. Whether it's handicrafts from Liepãja or culinary delights from Gyönk or Saanen-Gstaad, the twin towns are eagerly awaited by the people of Darmstadt every year.
2025 on the Christmas Market:
- 17.11. to 22.11.: Liepãja (Latvia)
- 24.11. to 30.11.: Liepãja (Latvia), Saanen-Gstaad (Switzerland)
- 1.12. to 7.12.: Gyönk (Hungary), Liepãja (Latvia), Troyes (France)
- 8.12. to 14.12.: Gyönk (Hungary), Liepãja (Latvia), Uzhhorod (Ukraine)
- 15.12. to 23.12.: Liepãja (Latvia), Uzhhorod (Ukraine)
The huts of the twin towns are located on the east side of the market square, between the Christmas pyramid and the castle.

The vouchers worth 10, 25, 50 or 100 euros can be bought online and in the Darmstadt Shop and can be redeemed in about 60 shops and restaurants in Darmstadt.
