Paper studio tulibri - Astrid Haas
tulibri - these are unusual books in a fresh design, lovingly handmade in my small manufactory: writing and travel books, photo albums and more. My aim is to create books with meaning. According to the motto: ‘take what's been discarded and make something beautiful out of it’, I turn old atlases, coffee sacks and recycled leather into unique ‘green’ books with the charm of things with a history.
About tulibri
tulibri is a ‘self-made’ artificial word. It stands for tulip, because they are my favourite flowers. Only the simple, unadorned ones please. And libri (Italian) stands for books.
tulibri is pronounced with an emphasis on the ‘tu’ - like ‘hummingbird’.
