There are public toilets for women and men in the main station.
When Darmstadt's main railway station (Hauptbahnhof) was opened in 1912, it was the first through station in Germany. The building, designed by Friedrich Puetzer, contains many Art Nouveau elements.

The vouchers worth 10, 25, 50 or 100 euros can be bought online and in the Darmstadt Shop and can be redeemed in about 60 shops and restaurants in Darmstadt.
