The Fischerhütte restaurant is located directly by the fish ponds along the Ostparkweg. The restaurant is open all year round and offers hot meals as well as refreshing drinks. When the weather is fine, you can sit under parasols or on a covered terrace and enjoy the view.

The history of the Darmstädter Fischerhütte:

Since 1972, the fishing hut of the Anglerverein Darmstadt e.V. was rebuilt in order to establish a public catering business here. From 1982 until September 2024, the restaurant was run by Georg Huck, a member of the Anglers' Association, together with his wife Petra Huck for 42 years until their retirement. Since a change of tenant, the fishing hut has been open again as usual from 13 November 2024 after a six-week interruption.
