The Darmstadt Spring Fair takes place from 24 April to 3 May in Darmstadt city centre. With fairground rides, food stalls and the Dippe market, the fair invites visitors to stroll around, enjoy themselves, meet friends and have fun.

A wide range of entertainment options for young and old will be on offer: visitors can look forward to bumper cars, children’s carousels, darts and a Ferris wheel, amongst other things. The food on offer ranges from candyfloss, churros and crêpes, to potato pancakes and bratwurst with chips, right through to specialities from Eritrea.

Programme for the Darmstadt Spring Fair

- Opening: Friday, 24 April, at 6 pm by Lord Mayor Hanno Benz and Silke Coutandin-Hausmann, Chair of the Darmstadt Showmen’s Association, at Robin Winkel’s food stall on Friedensplatz.

- Family Day: Tuesday, 28 April: The Darmstadt Showmen’s Association invites you to a Family Day with reduced ride prices.

- “Childhood Heroes Day” & face painting: Thursday, 30 April, 3–7 pm. Anyone who comes to the fair dressed as a “childhood hero” on this day will receive two rides for the price of one on all rides (valid for single rides only).
