The exhibition is entitled ‘On the way to the shift - work and mobility in transition’ and will take place from 9 August to 22 August as part of the Hesse Days of Industrial Culture under the overarching theme of ‘Shift Change’ and can be visited from Monday to Friday from 9 am to 5.30 pm.
The exhibition presents how routes to work, commuter mobility and shift work have changed since industrialisation. The Hessian Economic Archive is showing exciting historical photos and documents and invites anyone interested in history to take a look at the past, present and future of shift work.
