Weekly market on the market square
The market square is the heart of the city, with easy access in all directions. This starting point is therefore particularly worthwhile for a stroll through the city. As a culinary hub, you can also enjoy a cosy coffee here or do your weekly shopping for fresh and regional produce at the weekly market at the end of the route.
Head through Herrngarten to Martinsviertel: narrow alleyways and old houses, artistic shops, numerous cafés and lively squares characterise the ‘Watzeverdel’. The ‘Waldspirale’, the last major building by Friedensreich Hundertwasser, is located almost outside the neighbourhood. On the way back to the city centre, simply drift through the streets - the Martinsviertel invites you to take a stroll!
