To Darmstadt via the motorways A5 ( Frankfurt - Heidelberg / Basel) and A67 (Cologne / Wiesbaden - Mannheim ) which cross 3 km west of the city , as well as the B3, which runs along the Begstraße.
... by plane :
Frankfurt International Airport is 25 km away and can be reached in approx. 20 minutes by car over the motorway A5. The shuttle bus "Airliner" will take you comfortably and without a car from the airport to Darmstadt main railway station . From there it is only about 5 minutes by tram or bus to Luisen Square, the centre of public transport in Darmstadt.

Drop-off points for buses are at Justus Liebig House, at darmstadtium, at Mathildenplatz, at Mathildenhöhe (public WC at the Wedding Tower) as well as at the main train station (Europaplatz).
Buses can be parked at the Jugendstilbad (Mercksplatz, public WC), at the Rosenhöhe (Wolfskehlstraße, bus parking for visitors Mathildenhöhe), at the Nordbad in Alsfelder Straße and at the Böllenfalltor stadium.

Car park: Landwehrstraße, former Zeppelin Hall
The multi-storey car park is in a former Zeppelin hall, which was dismantled in Allenstein in East Prussia after the First World War and rebuilt in Darmstadt in 1923 with an expressionist façade. They served the company as workshops for railways. One of the halls burnt down in 1977 and was not rebuilt. The surviving hall is now used as a multi-storey car park.
550 metres from a bus stop and 1,100 metres from Luisenplatz: at Landwehrstraße 52 opposite the Schenck industrial park.

The TU Darmstadt has opened its multi-storey car park on the Lichtwiese to the public. 467 parking spaces can be used by residents, students and visitors to the Vivarium or the Botanical Garden, for example, for 2.50 euros a day from 5.30 am to 10.30 pm.
The parking spaces can also be reserved and paid for online. The smartphone then opens the barriers. This is made possible by Book-n-Park, the digital parking control system from the Darmstadt-based company Green Mobility Solutions (GMS).
Parking operators can define prices and free booking periods themselves via the Book-n-Park dashboard. In addition to the possibility of digitally controlling barriers, gates or even lockers and bicycle boxes, Book-n-Park's parking hangers can also be used to securely reserve and keep free individual spaces or charging stations for electric cars online.
On the booking platform www.book-n-park.de, an account with your own e-mail address can be created free of charge under "Login". Then select the location and booking time and pay by Paypal. A link is sent to the email address, which can be used to digitally open the car park with your own smartphone during the booked period.

Exit from the bus park and go straight ahead to the roundabout.
