The Austrian-born artist Thomas Sturm shows his current group of works "Old Master" as well as exemplary works from the 1990s. With his figurative, sometimes abstract painting, he deals with social-political themes, which he knows how to combine with art-immanent allusions and often negotiate humorously. To be seen for the first time in a long time in a larger exhibition, Thomas Sturm also emerges as a versatile sculptor and paper artist.

The exhibition focuses on the "Old Master" series, which Thomas Sturm began in 2018.
