Exhibition and book presentation ‘On the trail of green’ - 8 September to 20 October
The Werkbundakademie Darmstadt invites you to an exhibition and book as part of the 13th Darmstadt City Photographer Jana Hartmann. Opening: Sunday, 08 September 2024, at 12 pm at INTEF, Friedensplatz Darmstadt.
On the trail of greenery was the 13th Darmstadt city photographer Jana Hartmann. She spent a year exploring, discovering and capturing much of the tension between people and nature, city and greenery on her forays through the city. She has summarised her observations, insights and - perhaps also - warnings in twenty-seven pairs of pictures. The assignment of two photos each avoids one-sided assertions, allows diversity, leaves questions open and thus gives the viewer scope for association.
The book will be published by Justus von Liebig Verlag, September 2024.
